VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Sailing Museum and National Sailing Hall of Fame is dedicated to teamwork, education, making sailing legends come alive and entertaining sailing enthusiasts. If you would like to support both the sailing and the local Aquidneck Island communities, please consider giving your time and talent to help visitors make the most of their experience.

While on the Museum & Hall of Fame floor, volunteers will:

• Demonstrate interactive exhibits
• Provide insight into programs, services, memorabilia and more
• Engage with visitors by answering questions

While working on administrative needs or special events, volunteers will:

• Support special Museum & Hall of Fame events coordination, organization and execution
• Assist with light office work, such as mailings and outreach campaigns

All it takes is a welcoming smile, desire to be sociable and a willingness to learn and share your knowledge. Familiarity of sailing, yachting, and Newport history are pluses. Training will be provided.
