Executive Director

Title: Executive Director, The Sailing Museum & National Sailing Hall of Fame
Employee Classification: Full Time with Benefits
Reports to: Board of Directors Executive Committee
Location: On-site in Newport, RI. Occasional regional and national travel may be required.
Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000

Visitor & Museum Services Manager

Title: Visitor & Museum Services Associate
Employee Classification: Full-Time Exempt
Reports to: Executive Director
Location: On-site at The Sailing Museum and National Sailing Hall of Fame
Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, business hours being 9:30am – 5:30pm. Occasional evening or weekend support if applicable for special events and flexibility will be appreciated.

Visitor & Museum Services Associate

Title: Visitor & Museum Services Associate
Employee Classification: Part Time
Reports to: Visitor & Museum Services Manager
Location: On-site at The Sailing Museum and National Sailing Hall of Fame
Rate: $20/hr
Hours: Part-time associates will work up to 24 hours/week, flexibility will be appreciated. One weekend day may be required. Working hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm, with full or half day shifts.

Event Coordinator

Title: Event Coordinator, Per Diem
Employee Classification: Per Diem, $20/hr
Reports to: Special Events Manager
Location: On-site at The Sailing Museum and National Sailing Hall of Fame
Rate: $20/hr
Hours: Per Diem, including outside business hours, evenings and weekends as needed. Typically, events span the hours of 4pm – 11pm but times will vary.

Social Media Internship

Title: Social Media Internship
Employee Classification: Unpaid Internship
Reports to: Social Media and Content Lead
Location: On-site at The Sailing Museum and National Sailing Hall of Fame
Hours: Based on mutually agreed-upon schedule, anywhere between 10-20 hours a week based on events, needs and editorial calendar.
