- August 7: Mosbacher Room Tour
Kick off our Coffee with a Curator series with a private tour of the Mosbacher room, and its collection. Named after and dedicated to dual hall of famer Emil “Bus” Mosbacher, this space celebrates his life and legacy as an award winning sailor. Included in the tour are photos, models, and trophies that help tell Mosbacher’s exciting life story. - September 4: Sir Thomas Lipton’s Quest for the America’s Cup
Sir Thomas Lipton, self-made Scottish grocer turned international tea merchant, left a valiant legacy in the world of competitive yachting through his five separate campaigns for the highly coveted trophy.In this thirty minute presentation, you will learn how Lipton not only revitalized the America’s Cup matches, but how he developed an enigmatic image for himself and his company, while simultaneously expressing a deep passion for the American way of life, its people, and what it means to be a true sportsman. Items from our collection featuring Sir Thomas Lipton will also be on display for a close up look.

- $20 per person general ticket | FREE for members
- Children 10 years of age and younger are free
- Museum admission is included with the ticket price
- Service dogs only, no pets allowed
- Smoking, vaping and e-cigarettes are not permitted
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable
- Advance purchase strongly advised. Only a certain handful of walk-in tickets will be available.
- Coffee, tea and pastries will be available. Respectfully, no outside food or beverage is allowed.
Doors will open at 8:45am.
