An Evening with Historian Harry F. Martin

Join us for a thrilling evening of history, exploration, and high-seas adventure. Maritime historian Harry F. Martin brings to life the daring exploits of Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer – one of America’s greatest sailors from the Age of Exploration. Based on his acclaimed book, Nathaniel B. Palmer: Nineteenth Century Master Mariner, Martin’s talk will take you on a captivating journey through Palmer’s legendary Antarctic expeditions, adventures around South America and a remarkable sailing career that spanned from the War of 1812 to the 1870s.

Books will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation. Don’t miss this unforgettable night of stories and literary discussion.
